FINALLY ANOTHER GANGSTA POST ("Gangsta" Chapter 9 Review)

So Nico and Doug (yes, I just found out his name was Doug) are neck-and-neck in this battle (obviously, since they're both A/0 ranks)

We learn a bit more about why Doug was trying to take out the Monroe family's representative.



Apparently some time ago a C/3 rank came and attacked some members of their group as revenge over his friend's death, which Doug must be there for to attempt revenge again. It seems that the guild he's from is in good spirits with Benriya, but I assume that there's some kind of deal they have where that guild isn't allowed to try to pick fights with them. Either that or Benriya is just that strong ðŸ¤”​

 I don't know about you but I'd rather prefer the latter lol




Okay but... seriously?? Tell me how the fuck do you get stabbed with a bunch of knives and just pull them out effortlessly??? Not even a look of wincing was present on his face! Meanwhile, I can barely pull off a bandaid without yelling about how it's pulling my skin...

It seems that Twilights are supposed to be following a set of rules called the "Three Principles"...





SO the mystery drug that I've been wondering so much about is called Celebre. From what I've learned from this chapter Nic seems to be a damn fiend for it, since he frequently overdoses. Apparently it's against the Three Principles to overdose on Celebre since it numbs your body. Nic shows a clear example. Despite the fact that he got stabbed quite a few times when Doug threw the knives, he still continued to move. Warrick says that Nic's supposed to stop once he stops feeling the pain, and I'm guessing when he's numb it could take a huge toll on his body.

3 Reasons Why I Believe Mikasa Isn't a "Mary Sue"

Like I said before, most people who hate Mikasa tend to argue the she's a Mary Sue. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this term (although almost everyone should know), a Mary Sue is a fictional character who's absolutely perfect in every conceivable way. This character is usually a woman and is perceived as "annoying' by most of the fandom. What I'd like to point out are the traits that make her seem less "perfect". Mind you, I am in no way hating on Mikasa. 1. She's a little anti-social I feel that throughout the series, Mikasa only talks to people when she feels like she has to. Kind of like the whole "Do no speak unless you are spoken to" thing. That's why sometimes it kind of looks like Eren and Armin are her only friends. That's it, Deku will always be the best boy. I love him. ISN'T HE THE CUTEST?? Okay, fangirl moment over. Let's get serious. So , it turns out that All Might isn't all might, if you know what I mean. Seriously, how do you go from this TO THIS IN 0.2 SECONDS? ... He looks like a bum. Anyway, Deku finally gets his big question answered by his childhood hero. To which All Might responds, You can almost pinpoint the exact second his heart gets shattered. BUT I really think Deku might have been able to prove a bit of his worth in this episode.
