Deku is Best Boy (Boku no Hero Academia Episode 1 Review)

So after seeing this all over my Tumblr dash, I finally made the decision to watch it. By the way, wasn't it on Netflix before? Did they take it down or am I wrong?

Does anyone else just fucking adore Deku??

This is set in a world where more than 80% of the population are born with "Quirks", which are super-human powers developed at birth. Deku, who aspires to be like his hero All Might, is the only kid in his class that's completely normal despite both his parents having Quirks themselves.

Talk about unfair ðŸ˜‘​

 I just love how despite all that he still wants to protect people. He even takes notes of all the Quirks he's witnessed. 

 Each hero is paid by the government based on their performance when fighting monsters. Better performance, better pay. 

 Based on the obvious trope this anime has, I'm assuming Deku has a "hidden power" residing in him. But based on what the doctor said, he shouldn't even have a Quirk because there's no extra joint in his pinkie toe. 

 But what the hell does an extra joint, in your toe of all places, have to do with your powers?

Then there's this asshole, who I'm not very fond of right now since he fits the classic bully category. I don't like the fact that Deku never says anything back to him, but then again Bakugo has a Quirk. He could kill him if he wanted to. 

Despite how cliche it is, I like the fact that Deku finally got to meet his hero even though it was when he almost got killed by the creepy slime monster.

 I'd act the same if I were him ðŸ˜‚​

 Ehh, that's all I have to say for now lol. I'm trying to make my posts a little bit shorter and just talk about the general things instead of going into huge detail. Let me know if I should do more posts like this!

Hey, everyone!! I've realized that literally all I talk about on this blog are the manga and anime I see, which isn't very fair for all of you loyal readers out there. Now I know she's not the most liked  character in the SnK fandom (for many reasons), but I personally feel that she's not as bad as some may think she is. 3 Reasons Why I Believe Mikasa Isn't a "Mary Sue"

Like I said before, most people who hate Mikasa tend to argue the she's a Mary Sue. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this term (although almost everyone should know), a Mary Sue is a fictional character who's absolutely perfect in every conceivable way. This character is usually a woman and is perceived as "annoying' by most of the fandom. What I'd like to point out are the traits that make her seem less "perfect". Mind you, I am in no way hating on Mikasa. 1. She's a little anti-social I feel that throughout the series, Mikasa only talks to people when she feels like she has to. Kind of like the whole "Do no speak unless you are spoken to" thing. That's why sometimes it kind of looks like Eren and Armin are her only friends.
