Why Food Looks Much Better in Anime than it Does in Reality
You ever experience those moments where you're watching something on TV and a character happens to be eating pizza and for some odd reason, it automatically makes you want pizza. And the funny part is that there wasn't anything special about the pizza you saw on TV, but seeing someone else eating it just made you want to eat it (am I saying it right?). HOWEVER This is nothing compared to food you see in anime. Almost everything in anime is idealistic (of course because it's fictional), meaning almost everything simply just LOOKS GOOD It's clean, it's pretty, this is basically the reason why people prefer anime over reality.
