It's An Anime Thing

After some thinking, I decided to switch over to Wordpress two days ago. Though I've gotten a lot of traffic on this blog, I feel like Wordpress looks more cleaner than what I have on Blogger. It's also the main hosting site that's suggested by other bloggers, so I might as well have given it a shot. It's a new, fresh start! All of my posts are there, so it's not as if I'm starting from scratch. I'll also be keeping this blog up for a day or two so that those who come to this blog regularly will be linked to my new site. To be honest, I didn't really think too much of him in the beginning. I generally tend to focus more on the main characters when I'm getting into any kind of series. Shingeki  was possibly the only series I'd ever seen that actually made me think about the side-characters. So again, I didn't really think much of him, other than the fact that he seemed like a badass character. However, due to the fact that I was sitting next to my anime crazed cousin (who had actually made me start watching Shingeki ), I literally never heard the end of all of Levi's great attributes. "Omg see him? That's Captain Levi! He's Humanity's Strongest soldier! He's short, he's a clean freak," blah blah blah My thoughts were mainly focused on Eren, Mikasa, and Armin most of the time. But THEN, episode 14 rolled around and after seeing Levi literally beat Eren senseless in court, I just thought he was a giant asshat. But then near the end of the ep...

If I were to focus on my wants, I'd say I'd like to be a winged Ghoul like Touka is... But that's mainly because I just find it to look so pretty. Plus, she looked so badass wth it >_< But if anything I'd like to have the same kagune that Rize and Kaneki have. It doesn't provide too much protection, but I think I could do a lot of damage with something like that. I don't think I'd prefer something that only provides protection. Yes, protecting yourself from an attack is important, but don't you think it takes a lot of energy to shield yourself when you could just find an opening and slice the guy's head off? I don't know, that's just my personal opinion.

Soooo I came back from my trip yesterday!! The flight was late so I couldn't make this post sooner. You wanna hear a funny story? You know how most kids tend to fight with their siblings over the window seat? My stepdad and I were fighting over the window seat -_- I was in front of them, so it's only logical that I get the window seat since I'm going in first. But no. This guy literally pushes me to the side to get in, but before he could get to the seat I went in and started wrestling with him. But obviously I'm not as strong as him so he got the seat... So I had to sit in the middle while my mother looked at us with a weird face  😂 ​ But overall the trip was good! I got to go to my first fancy wedding and it was so beautiful. Plus I got to see my other family so that was fun too  😁 ​ The bad thing is, next Sunday I'm heading over to my dad's house for two weeks. AND, he doesn't have internet... I'll try to write a few posts and schedule...

Oh wow... Okay. So most of you might know already that my favorite anime so far is Attack on Titan . So... I'm fucked, but not completely fucked. Eren is a Shifter, so it's not all that bad. However, I'm not fond of the life he's living. I'd rather not live in a world where everything's risky and the government is coming for your head, etc. Plus, this guy has been through a LOT. I don't think I would handle it as well as he did. Plus, he's very headstrong. I'm not really like that. I know my limitations so I'm not the type to just do things impulsively like he does.

As of right now I currently have two anime crushes... EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THIS IS MY BOO AND THIS IS MY OTHER BOO (say hello) I seriously love them both like it's not even funny

Due to the fact that I’m a blogger and I write about every episode I watch, I only have time to watch 2 animes. AND I’m kind of a slow writer so that adds up.  I’ve been really anxious to watch “Boku no Hero Academia” because it’s so popular (and because I want to see the little frog character) but if I watch it without finishing the other series’, it’ll just throw me off. I’ll automatically feel obligated to write a review on it. Hmm 🤔 ​ I’ll just have to be faster when I write. And maybe just keep it short unless otherwise from now on. It probably would be better to make my posts a bit shorter, since I know some people have short attention spans these days. Don’t worry, it’s not “Boku no Pico” 😂 ​ 😂 ​ Mine is actually “Sword Art Online”… I mean, I’m not exactly ashamed that I enjoyed it, I’m just ashamed that I didn’t know it was a harem/love story type of anime.  Like the entire time I thought it was about a guy who was trying to beat the gaming system with a side of romance. In reality, it’s just a romance anime that’s set in a game. It wasn’t until someone sent me a video of this guy ranting about how horrible it was that I realized that I was wrong about it. But don’t get me wrong, I still love it as a romance anime. I just hate that I thought it was all action.

Like I said before, most people who hate Mikasa tend to argue the she's a Mary Sue. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this term (although almost everyone should know), a Mary Sue is a fictional character who's absolutely perfect in every conceivable way. This character is usually a woman and is perceived as "annoying' by most of the fandom. What I'd like to point out are the traits that make her seem less "perfect". Mind you, I am in no way hating on Mikasa. 1. She's a little anti-social I feel that throughout the series, Mikasa only talks to people when she feels like she has to. Kind of like the whole "Do no speak unless you are spoken to" thing. That's why sometimes it kind of looks like Eren and Armin are her only friends. However, I think she's gotten a bit closer to Sasha throughout the years, but that's most likely because Sasha initiated their conversations. Such as in their first meeting when M...

In case you haven't noticed already, This cute lil bean right here is my favorite character of all time. For those of you who've been reading my posts, you might remember that I had done a Character Analysis post for Mikasa a little while back. Some of you may ask WHY I love her so much. The answer is, she is so well-written. Most people in the fandom dislike her for being a Mary Sue, which I don't believe is true. There's a few bad traits under the surface that most won't acknowledge, which I will be explaining later in another post. Mikasa is considered to be the strongest female within the walls. This is due to her crazy-ass genetics, which she had obviously gotten from her late mother and father. She is one of the only members of the Ackerman clan alive AND the last Asian descendant. The thing that I'm confused about is how the government didn't freak out about her. I mean, the Ackermans and the Asians were the only humans who resisted...

So I haven't posted the last couple days due to some relatives coming over. I literally wasn't able to get to my computer. But it was fun having them here :) It definitely took me out of my comfort zone in the sense that, instead of it just being me and my parents, it was me and my parents plus my aunts and a cousin. So there as a lot of people in the house which made it more lively. I'm sad that they left tho

Each weeb has at least one male character that they hold dear in their hearts Given the fact that I am and always will be a Dragon Ball Z fan, the first male character I payed so much attention to besides Goku was Gohan. He almost instantly became my favorite male character when I first saw him as a baby in the beginning of DBZ. Like he was so cute?? And the fact that he had a "special power" made me love him even more  😍 ​ Then as you watch him grow up you see him still striving to be a fighter like his father while also  doing his best to  balance that out with his studying for his mother's sake. He's also achieved Super Saiyan levels 1 and 2 before he even hit puberty, which is fucking AMAZING AND he was also able to control his Mystic powers as a young adult in order to fight Buu  The only thing I don't like is how the creators made him basically stop training after the Cell Games, he never achieved Super Saiyan 3, or at least tri...

We've all had moments when watching this show where we'd ask ourselves, "Now what kind of magic would I do if I were a character of 'Fairy Tail'?" For most of us, being a dragon slayer would be our first choice (and tbh it was mine too  😂 ​ ) In reality it all depends on what physical elements you believe you'd correspond with the most. Like how Natsu's specialty is using and creating fire while Lucy's is using the aid of inter-dimensional beings. As for me, I have a thing for water so I'd most likely be a water mage like Juvia. BUT if there's a way that I could be some kind of water-dragon slayer, then sign me the fuck up However, I also really  love the idea of being a celestial mage like Lucy... ITS SO HARD TO DECIDE  😫 ​ What kind of mage would you be?

I found it on Anime Amino 😁 Well... I already did a "First Anime" post , so let's count this as Day 2. So today's topic is: "What's your favorite out of the anime you've watched so far?" Hmm 🤔 That is very hard.  It's a tie between Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, OHSHC... You know what?? I love them all equally. I can't choose a favorite 😂😂 Do you have a favorite? Please tell me :)

This question has been at the back of my head since I started the series, and I'm pretty sure we've all asked ourselves this: What would I wish for if I were becoming a Magical Girl? Now this is a pretty hard question, since this is the only wish you'll ever get. It's limitless but you're trading your life for it . To be honest, if I were being offered this I wouldn't even take the chance. I don't care if it's limitless. If I'm trading my soul for this I'd rather just be a regular human. BUT, IF IT'S TRULY LIMITLESS THEN WHY HASN'T ANYONE WISHED FOR THE WITCHES TO BE EXTINCT??? OR GET RID OF THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS JUST SO THEY COULD GO AWAY?? OR EVEN CREATE SOME KIND OF JUSTICE LEAGUE TO FIGHT OFF THE WITCHES SO THEY WON'T HAVE TO SIGN UP LITTLE GIRLS But no, they don't want to be resourceful with their wish. This must be why Kyubey recruits young girls.

Everyone has their own preferences, right? Some prefer comedy, some prefer horror, some... don't really have a type and will just watch anything. As for me I'm a little weird with stuff like this. I have a type, but ironically it's not exactly the kind that I watch or read. I'm the kind that prefers comedy (everyone does really), romance (surprise surprise), and generally animes that are more light and fun. But you've all seen what I read and watch, and they're far from "light and fun". Maybe in reality I prefer the angsty stuff, even though I hate how exaggerated angst moments are sometimes when it's portrayed in... well basically anything -__- What genres of anime do you prefer?

So the reason why I haven't been posting very frequently like I said I would is because I've been busying myself with starting an online store ( itsananimething.com ). It was a little scary at first if you want me to be honest. But in reality all things are if they're out of your comfort zone. I've realized that it's time for me to change. Something like this requires a LOT of self-discipline and focus, which means I have to start grinding like my life depends on it. Which means reading a lot of books, online articles, watching videos, creating schedules... It's kind of overwhelming after thinking about it for a while  😅 ​ But this gives me a chance to force myself out of my comfort-zone and really start taking even more control of the life I have!
