It's An Anime Thing

After some thinking, I decided to switch over to Wordpress two days ago. Though I've gotten a lot of traffic on this blog, I feel like Wordpress looks more cleaner than what I have on Blogger. It's also the main hosting site that's suggested by other bloggers, so I might as well have given it a shot. It's a new, fresh start! All of my posts are there, so it's not as if I'm starting from scratch. I'll also be keeping this blog up for a day or two so that those who come to this blog regularly will be linked to my new site. We all have the ones we love, and the ones we just wish the creators would kill off. Here's mine :) 1. Ichiru Kiryu 100% hate this guy with a passion. "My brother was the only one that looked at me." Boo hoo, asshole. I seriously don't give a fuck how he felt about being the weak twin. Like if you felt so bad about your parents treating you as if you're weak (which it really didn't look like to me), you should be happy that your brother is even giving you the time of day. He could've chosen to just ignore you like your parents supposedly did instead of treating you as an equal. And I can't believe he actually felt bad enough to the point where he helped Shizuka kill his family?? Like damn, what a selfish little brat. 2. Yuki Kuran I could give less fucks about her, but it seems as if I don't have any left. This girl had almost no personality, and she's so fucking naive . I kind of feel as if she was used more as a plot dev...

 I can't with this manga anymore... This chapter literally had me squealing even after it ended. So in the last chapter Shouko finds out that Yuzuru was the one who posted the article that led to Shouya's suspension. I'm telling you, understanding sign-language must be taxing. Do you see her hands? They're flying everywhere. You must be really good at sign language to keep up with all that. Anyway, Shouko actually gets angry for the first time and starts scolding her little sister and tells her to apologize. But of course due to pettiness, she doesn't want to apologize. Shouko then tells her something in sign language, which for some reason wasn't explained, and Yuzuru gets upset and runs out the house. Shouya actually happens to find her in the playground sleeping. Eventually after some negotiating (and Yuzuru collapsing) Shouya convinces Yuzuru to stay for inner at his house. A while later there's a knock on the door. ...

I feel like this episode was Netflix's way of appreciating the hardcore fans out in the world who spend their time freaking out over any series and doing things such as creating content related to the series, cosplaying, all that good stuff. I like how they made Lotte more eccentric when she'd talk about "Night Fall". The "excited fangirl" behavior she had during the event portrayed exactly how fans of any series in the real world act when they're at a convention. Trust me, I've been there. Going to a convention, especially for the first time, is very  exciting. There's events to catch, merch to buy, and if you're into cosplay you'll try to see how many characters you can recognize. Or in the case where you're in  cosplay you're probably hoping that someone will recognize you and point it out. Depends on what kind of person you are.

Sayaka has left the building... She's distraught because she's realized that she doesn't have her soul with her anymore. And as much as I love her, I honestly would have never made that stupid wish. She did it under the intention to make sure she and Kyosuke could still be friends, which was a selfish decision since it was mainly for her. Had she done it under the intention that she wanted to end his suffering with nothing in return , it probably wouldn't have backfired on her. But whatever. I also have the feeling that Madoka is going to be making her wish pretty soon. From what Kyubey said to her, it seems as if she will be the most powerful magical girl, maybe almost god-like. But what really gets me ticked is that at the end of the episode Kyubei (or should I say the Incubator) states that Magical Girls eventually turn into witches, which I think it's pretty obvious that this ties to Sayaka being reckless and tainting her soul gem. From my knowledge ...

So in this chapter, Nagatsuka invites Shouya to hang out with him after school, which was ironic as hell since Shouya was just asking himself, "I wonder if Nagatsuka thinks of me as a friend?" And so they go see a movie together and get food, the usual stuff, and in the middle of a conversation Shouya stops and asks Nagatsuka, IS ANYONE ELSE LAUGHING AT THIS GUY'S FACE RIGHT NOW?? Like bruh, it must've been a while since you last socialized. But then Shouya explains his situation with Nishimiya, and in the end Nagatsuka says "Friendship is something that defies both words and logic." To be honest I wouldn't expect a boy who's like... 14 (?) to say that. Anyway, on Tuesday Shouya goes back to the sign-language class, only to be answered by the same boy (I thought he was a fucking girl this whole time) as last time with the same response. "She's not here." Shouya then tells him that he just wants to speak to her, to ...

Remember how Shouya had previously sold his stuff in order to get enough money to pay back his mom before he killed himself? Well,  since he's made the decision to keep living, now he no longer has a bike or even a futon to sleep on. So for today he borrows his mother's bike so he could get around town. As he eats alone on the steps, Shouya happens to realize that there's someone else sitting alone. However, we can't see this mysterious stranger since his face is covered with an "X", BUT we do know that his name is Nagatsuka. Shouya then later finds Nagatsuka getting bullied by another student in an attempt to take his bike. He decides to ignore it but then feels obligated to help when he and Nagatsuka make eye-contact. So  Shouya ends up giving his bike to the classmate. Aaand , classic bully move, the guy never returns the damn bike. Worst of all it was his mother's bike, so you know you're gonna get your ass kicked for something like that. ...

Alright, so the twins we see in this flashback (I can't upload pictures right now because both my phone and my laptop are being asshats right now), to my knowledge, are the half-ghoul twins that were shown in the previous chapter. This chapter basically focuses on their childhood past. These twins once lived in the mansion that Dr. Kanou currently lives in with their parents as children. Then one day a ghoul, who was assumed to have either been watching them or was "tempted by the smell of happiness", had tore their parents apart and sucked on their organs as the two girls watched. Seriously, how fucked up is Ishida? And here I thought Isayama was the asshole... Apparently orphans who lost their parents to ghouls are taken in by the CCG to receive special training and later on become ghoul investigators. I'm not sure why, but this blew my mind a bit because that is smart as fuck.  I mean, it's the more obvious choice to go with. If a child loses their PA...

This episode was... not what I expected. It's starts off so innocent and light-hearted, what with Sayaka going over to see her crush friend in the hospital. From what it looked like, this guy used to be a violinist. But telling by the bandages on his arm, I assume that maybe the stress was too much for him and he'd made cuts on his arm? Or maybe something happened that prevented him from being able to play anymore. Either way, he seems to be pretty upset about it. Sayaka then asks later on if her wish has to be for herself, which Mami replies that you could make the wish for someone else, but you have to make sure you don't have any selfish ulterior motives. We also finally get to see Mami's past, as well as what she might have wished for when she became a Magical Girl. It kind of makes me think: is Kyubey some kind of little cat demon thing in disguise? It doesn't really make too much sense since he helps fight the witches that bring despair to the w...

In this episode we (or rather I since I think I came into this fandom pretty damn late  😅 ​ ) found out more about Magical Girls and how they contribute to the well-being of humanity, as well as what sort of bullshit ensues when a witch is around. It seems that things like suicide and car crashes are usually caused by witches  🤔 ​  A demonstration of such is shown near the end of the episode where Madoka and Sayaka accompany Mami on a witch-hunt.  By the way, do all witches look like giant plant monsters?? I find that a little weird  😅 ​ (Look at how cute she is~! Don't you want to hug her???) Why the hell was Hitomi acting so weird? Like because of the fact that her two friends are suddenly whispering and standing next to each other more she automatically assumes that they're together?? And then she says "Girls can't love girls!" Like what's so wrong with that? You should be happy for them you...

I'm probably the only person who hasn't watched it yet. I mean when I saw the description on Netflix I wasn't very interested, but then again it seems that Netflix just tries to guess and ends up butchering what the anime was actually about. Look at what the did with "Ouran High School Host Club"! Netflix called them "gigolos"  😤 ​ It looks like such a sweet and innocent anime about a group of little girls who fight inter-dimensional creatures to save the world but I am positive  it is anything but. Right? From what I've seen on Tumblr it seems that this anime is very dark despite what it looks like on the cover... There is an anime series and three movies on Netflix, so which one should I watch first? Which one came  first? What do you think? Let me know in the "comments" box!

OKAY SO CHAPTERS 6 AND 7 REALLY FUCKED ME UP (well I'm easily moved by anything so yeah) Like I was literally up at night reading this and texting my friend about it.                                    Okay, so I'm actually starting to feel bad about all the bullying that's Shouya is going through. Not that bad, though. I mean he lost all his friends, getting shit written on his desk (still), is completely isolated from everyone... Karma. Anyway I'm so glad that he did a bunch of jobs in order to pay his mom back! It's so sweet 😊 AND NOW HE FINALLY MET UP WITH NISHIMIYA!!! I can't wait to read the next chapter BUT I also need to catch up on "Gangsta" and "Tokyo Ghoul". Maybe I should do one post each? I have FINALLY FINISHED THE FIRST CHAPTEEEEER VICTORY IS MINE That whole thing was 63 pages omfg. But that was because it was meant to be a oneshot at first. And I am SOOO glad they didn't keep it that way 😭😭 it's too good to keep as a oneshot. Well, it's not like I haven't seen A SINGLE one. I've seen "Ponyo". Although, I don't remember too much of it, since it's been a while. It was the first and possibly only anime movie that I have watched. Damn I need to step up my game 😂 I still remember how pure it is tho uwu I have a feeling that even after I've watched all the other Studio Ghibli movies "Ponyo" will still be my favorite 😊 Still, I can't be the ONLY one who hasn't watched all the them... right? Please tell me there's SOMEONE who hasn't watched them 😅
