It's An Anime Thing

To be honest, I didn't really think too much of him in the beginning. I generally tend to focus more on the main characters when I'm getting into any kind of series. Shingeki  was possibly the only series I'd ever seen that actually made me think about the side-characters. So again, I didn't really think much of him, other than the fact that he seemed like a badass character. However, due to the fact that I was sitting next to my anime crazed cousin (who had actually made me start watching Shingeki ), I literally never heard the end of all of Levi's great attributes. "Omg see him? That's Captain Levi! He's Humanity's Strongest soldier! He's short, he's a clean freak," blah blah blah My thoughts were mainly focused on Eren, Mikasa, and Armin most of the time. But THEN, episode 14 rolled around and after seeing Levi literally beat Eren senseless in court, I just thought he was a giant asshat. But then near the end of the ep...

Oh wow... Okay. So most of you might know already that my favorite anime so far is Attack on Titan . So... I'm fucked, but not completely fucked. Eren is a Shifter, so it's not all that bad. However, I'm not fond of the life he's living. I'd rather not live in a world where everything's risky and the government is coming for your head, etc. Plus, this guy has been through a LOT. I don't think I would handle it as well as he did. Plus, he's very headstrong. I'm not really like that. I know my limitations so I'm not the type to just do things impulsively like he does.

As of right now I currently have two anime crushes... EVERYONE KNOWS THAT THIS IS MY BOO AND THIS IS MY OTHER BOO (say hello) I seriously love them both like it's not even funny

Like I said before, most people who hate Mikasa tend to argue the she's a Mary Sue. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this term (although almost everyone should know), a Mary Sue is a fictional character who's absolutely perfect in every conceivable way. This character is usually a woman and is perceived as "annoying' by most of the fandom. What I'd like to point out are the traits that make her seem less "perfect". Mind you, I am in no way hating on Mikasa. 1. She's a little anti-social I feel that throughout the series, Mikasa only talks to people when she feels like she has to. Kind of like the whole "Do no speak unless you are spoken to" thing. That's why sometimes it kind of looks like Eren and Armin are her only friends. However, I think she's gotten a bit closer to Sasha throughout the years, but that's most likely because Sasha initiated their conversations. Such as in their first meeting when M...

Not only are we getting a Season 3 next year, but the "Lost Girls" spinoff will be adapted into OVAs!! For those of you who don't know, "Lost Girls" is a spinoff of Attack on Titan revolving around Annie and Mikasa. On Annie's side, a story about her past before she got caught as the Female Titan is shown. Basically, this is set in the time where she was with the Military Police as she tries to solve the mysterious disappearance of a noble family's daughter. I've only seen one or two chapters of this, so this is all I know. As for Mikasa, her side of the spinoff is about what her life might have been like had her parents' potential murderers never came to her house. Again, I've only read like one or two chapters so I don't know very much. I'm very excited for this  😆 ​ We finally get to see Annie outside of the crystal!!!

I'm a little late with this, I know  😅 ​ So you know how Isayama has given us a new cast in the manga? Well, he's just confirmed that Reiner will be another protagonist in the manga besides Eren. Makes sense  🤔 ​. Besides, why would he add a new cast if this wasn't his intention, other than for us to see the other side of the war of course. But while I do love the new cast and everything,  I MISS THE SHIGANSHINA TRIO!!! LIKE I HAVE SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS?? Like is Armin okay?? How's he dealing with the Colossal Titan power? Has he regained any of Bertoldt's memories? AND WHAT ABOUT MIKASA?? LIKE IS MY BABY OKAY? IS SHE EATING WELL? HOW'S SHE DEALING WITH THE NEWS THAT EREN'S GONNA DIE SOON?? WHY ISAYAMA WHY  😖 ​ 😤 ​

Hey, everyone!! I've realized that literally all I talk about on this blog are the manga and anime I see, which isn't very fair for all of you loyal readers out there. So I've decided to talk about something that might be a little more interesting... This is Mikasa Ackerman. Now I know she's not the most liked  character in the SnK fandom (for many reasons), but I personally feel that she's not as bad as some may think she is. One of the main reasons why most don't like her is simply because of the way her personality is. They find her to be emotionless because she keeps a stoic expression (and that picture proves otherwise) and "clingy" because she's usually around, and is constantly trying to protect, Eren. So I was finally able to see the last episode of our beloved season 2 just yesterday :( I even took out my special Survey Corps jacket just for this occasion! (you can kind of see it in this post ) Alright, so in this episode we finally get to see the Smiling Titan for the second time. Miraculously this Titan was never killed during the fall of Wall Maria (wtf) AND it just somehow decides to pick on Eren and Mikasa (of all people) in the battlefield. Meanwhile the rest are trying to fight Reiner, who is currently busy throwing Titans, as Historia tries to catch up with her Titan girlfriend. As the Smiling Titan was just about to get their hands on Eren and Mikasa, Hannes throws himself in the way and proceeds to (finally) get revenge on the thing that killed Carla. Armin and Jean had originally planned to help them, but unfortunately Jean happened to have a Titan being thrown his way. Alright, so you know how I was complaining in one of my other posts about how Season 2 of Shingeki was half as long as the first season? WELL GUESS WHAT MOTHERFUCKERS WE'RE GETTING A SEASON 3 THATS RIGHT SEASON FUCKING THREE According to this , it is set to air next year in 2018!! Hopefully they're not telling us this now only to get our hopes up and say it's actually set for 2019  😅 ​ That wouldn't be very good at all. Anyway, thank you for reading! Okay I seriously hated Reiner and Bertholdt until this chapter. Don't get me wrong I still think that Reiner is a dick, but I feel like I can't really blame him for the things he did (given the society he grew up in). ALRIGHT FOLKS WE GOT TWO EPISODES LEFT AND I AM NOT OKAY (Jesus why the fuck would they make us wait like five years for a second season and then give us half of the amount of episodes they gave in the first season??) ANYWAY we're already ten episodes in and I haven't seen the chapter 50 episode yet. I know it's coming soon, but I thought it would've came out in this last episode. How did I just find out about this -_- I had no idea that Shingeki no Kyojin was getting half a season?? Like wtf? Okay, so... They made us wait FOUR GOD DAMN YEARS for a season 2... And it's half as long as the first one? What a load of shit man I know it's because those who work on the show don't get paid as much and all that, but I find this so unfair omg if they're going to make us wait this long and give us half a season , they better make Chapter 50 really good and worth it. It's a lot to ask, I know, but this might be the only way I'll be fine with this half a season thing okay?  😂 ​ 😂 ​ I'm also a little mad that I'm like one of the last people to find this out, so I'm really bitter 

I have a blog that has most of the fan-fictions I've written so far, and I'm thinking about just transferring them to this blog and making a separate page for them. I haven't even used that blog in so long, so it's pretty much a waste of a really good URL (It's randomeanimefanfics.blogspot.com -_-). Someone else could have used it the entire time! For now, all of the fanfics I have written so far are EreMika fan-fictions  😂 ​. I was so obsessed (and pretty much still am) with EreMika and "Shingeki no Kyoin" altogether. Why is it that at times when you tell someone you like anime, they have this weird, slightly repulsed look on their face as if they just saw you eat a bug? And they have the audacity to say that "anime is for kids"? First of all, I've seen grown-ass men and women who spend their time watching  SpongeBob . That is an actual show made specifically for children. Second, anime is  so  not for kids! You know that "Attack on Titan" anime you hear about so much? That show is literally one of the most fucked-up, most gruesome shows I've ever seen. It's about a dystopian society caged by three walls that hide them from giant naked man-eating beasts called Titans. This is a psychological-horror type of anime. You would let your kids watch this? ​ ​ There's anime that's centralized around girls (even ones as young as like nine or ten years old) who wear skimpy outfits and get themselves into situations that lead to them  ...

Okay, so at this point only three episodes have aired, and so far it's pretty damn good for me.  I know, those aren't the words that should be coming out of my mouth since we waited FOUR MOTHER FLIPPING YEARS FOR THIS SHIT. I'm pretty sure you're telling me that I should be a little more grateful, and I  am don't get me wrong . I think it's just a different effect when you've already read the manga.  Anyway, on to the judging (if any, which is very unlikely). When I saw the first episode, I had completely forgotten that Mike had died (R.I.P. Weird Sniffy Tall Guy). And I kind of feel like he gave up a  little  too fast. Then again, I would be extremely  scared too in that situation. Also, does anyone else picture a banana when they see Nanaba? The name messes me up -_- As always, the animation was on point.
