It's An Anime Thing

 I can't with this manga anymore... This chapter literally had me squealing even after it ended. So in the last chapter Shouko finds out that Yuzuru was the one who posted the article that led to Shouya's suspension. I'm telling you, understanding sign-language must be taxing. Do you see her hands? They're flying everywhere. You must be really good at sign language to keep up with all that. Anyway, Shouko actually gets angry for the first time and starts scolding her little sister and tells her to apologize. But of course due to pettiness, she doesn't want to apologize. Shouko then tells her something in sign language, which for some reason wasn't explained, and Yuzuru gets upset and runs out the house. Shouya actually happens to find her in the playground sleeping. Eventually after some negotiating (and Yuzuru collapsing) Shouya convinces Yuzuru to stay for inner at his house. A while later there's a knock on the door. ...

At first I thought Yuzuru (Shouko's little sister) was an asshole for trying to keep Shouko and Shouya apart, but it's completely understandable. It's usually common for the older sibling to protect the younger sibling from danger. But this time the roles were switched. Because Shouko wasn't really the type to get angry (my poor babu  😩 ​ ), Yuzuru felt as if it was her responsibility to get angry for her sister. I find this so sweet, especially since Shouko never really defended herself besides the time she'd actually fought with Shouya. All Yuzuru wants to do is protect her sister and make sure she's happy. And she believes the best way to do that is to make sure Shouya doesn't go anywhere near her, which again is understandable because he was the one who caused Shouko's misery in the first place. Also, what the hell is up with Shouya's mom??  I mean, I get that you're trying to make sure your son doesn't try to commit suicide agai...

So in this chapter, Nagatsuka invites Shouya to hang out with him after school, which was ironic as hell since Shouya was just asking himself, "I wonder if Nagatsuka thinks of me as a friend?" And so they go see a movie together and get food, the usual stuff, and in the middle of a conversation Shouya stops and asks Nagatsuka, IS ANYONE ELSE LAUGHING AT THIS GUY'S FACE RIGHT NOW?? Like bruh, it must've been a while since you last socialized. But then Shouya explains his situation with Nishimiya, and in the end Nagatsuka says "Friendship is something that defies both words and logic." To be honest I wouldn't expect a boy who's like... 14 (?) to say that. Anyway, on Tuesday Shouya goes back to the sign-language class, only to be answered by the same boy (I thought he was a fucking girl this whole time) as last time with the same response. "She's not here." Shouya then tells him that he just wants to speak to her, to ...

Remember how Shouya had previously sold his stuff in order to get enough money to pay back his mom before he killed himself? Well,  since he's made the decision to keep living, now he no longer has a bike or even a futon to sleep on. So for today he borrows his mother's bike so he could get around town. As he eats alone on the steps, Shouya happens to realize that there's someone else sitting alone. However, we can't see this mysterious stranger since his face is covered with an "X", BUT we do know that his name is Nagatsuka. Shouya then later finds Nagatsuka getting bullied by another student in an attempt to take his bike. He decides to ignore it but then feels obligated to help when he and Nagatsuka make eye-contact. So  Shouya ends up giving his bike to the classmate. Aaand , classic bully move, the guy never returns the damn bike. Worst of all it was his mother's bike, so you know you're gonna get your ass kicked for something like that. ...

OKAY SO CHAPTERS 6 AND 7 REALLY FUCKED ME UP (well I'm easily moved by anything so yeah) Like I was literally up at night reading this and texting my friend about it. However she and I live in completely different time zones so imagine getting all these messages in the middle of the fucking night 👇👇                 I JUST HAVE TOO MANY FEELINGS FOR THIS MANGA UUUGH I can't believe Shouya was actually thinking about committing suicide 😭 I'm just so glad he decided to find Shouko before he did that!!  And I want to know why her mother is so fucking anal 😑Maybe it's because after Shouko got bullied in sixth grade she's being especially picky with who her daughter hangs out with? I'm also really interested to see what happened when Shouya's mom talked to her when they were in sixth grade.                                    Okay, so I'm actually starting to feel bad about all the bullying that's Shouya is going through. Not that bad, though. I mean he lost all his friends, getting shit written on his desk (still), is completely isolated from everyone... Karma. Anyway I'm so glad that he did a bunch of jobs in order to pay his mom back! It's so sweet 😊 AND NOW HE FINALLY MET UP WITH NISHIMIYA!!! I can't wait to read the next chapter BUT I also need to catch up on "Gangsta" and "Tokyo Ghoul". Maybe I should do one post each? Hmm... 🤔

There wasn't really much in those three chapters to me. It was mainly playing back everything Shouya did when they were in grade school. HOWEVER, we did get extra stuff such as finally getting to see Shouya's mom (who looks like she could be his sister wtf) as well as what the bullying was like for Shouya. I have FINALLY FINISHED THE FIRST CHAPTEEEEER VICTORY IS MINE That whole thing was 63 pages omfg. But that was because it was meant to be a oneshot at first.                                    So this is another manga that I abandoned a while ago (@me why do you do this) and I just found out that they made it an anime ;-; Why am I always late smh I think what happened was that the app I read it on crashed once again so I had to delete and redowload it.  And this is literally one of the sweetest manga everrr  It's about a boy who meets a deaf girl that transferred to their school and so he lead everyone to bullying her ;-; But then after she transfers out everyone started to bully him (which is like the best Karma ever he got what he deserved) He had the desire to meet her again (I think it was to apologize?) and they actually end up seeing each other in high school  Uugh this will be the death of me I swear.
