Lotte is the Ultimate Fangirl (LWA Episode 4 Review)

I feel like this episode was Netflix's way of appreciating the hardcore fans out in the world who spend their time freaking out over any series and doing things such as creating content related to the series, cosplaying, all that good stuff. I like how they made Lotte more eccentric when she'd talk about "Night Fall". The "excited fangirl" behavior she had during the event portrayed exactly how fans of any series in the real world act when they're at a convention. Trust me, I've been there. Going to a convention, especially for the first time, is very  exciting. There's events to catch, merch to buy, and if you're into cosplay you'll try to see how many characters you can recognize. Or in the case where you're in  cosplay you're probably hoping that someone will recognize you and point it out. Depends on what kind of person you are.

He Can Still Be a Hero!! (BNHA Episode 2)

That's it, Deku will always be the best boy. I love him. ISN'T HE THE CUTEST?? Okay, fangirl moment over. Let's get serious. So , it turns out that All Might isn't all might, if you know what I mean. Seriously, how do you go from this TO THIS IN 0.2 SECONDS? ... He looks like a bum. Anyway, Deku finally gets his big question answered by his childhood hero. To which All Might responds, You can almost pinpoint the exact second his heart gets shattered. BUT I really think Deku might have been able to prove a bit of his worth in this episode. Due to All Might's negligence, he'd accidentally dropped the soda bottle that had contained the Sludge Monster (is that his name?? I'm not sure). This bottle happens to make it's way to Bakugo of all people, and the same thing that almost happened to Deku happens to him. Bakugo gets overtaken by the monster, thus leaving him powerless and giving the monster an extreme a...

What Kind of Quirk Would I Have?

After watching the first episode of Boku No Hero Academia I got into one of those moments where you imagine yourself in that fictional world, and I wondered what kind of Quirk I would like to have had, if I had the option to choose. Like Deku's mom, I would like to have the ability to attract objects to me. Except it's full telekinesis, not just small objects. Or maybe the ability to shapeshift? Because if I shapeshift into other people I can most likely also have their abilities... Hm... I could probably be quite the villain with that kind of power. So maybe not?

This is Getting Way Out of Hand (PMMM Episode 8 Review)

Sayaka has left the building... She's distraught because she's realized that she doesn't have her soul with her anymore. And as much as I love her, I honestly would have never made that stupid wish. She did it under the intention to make sure she and Kyosuke could still be friends, which was a selfish decision since it was mainly for her. Had she done it under the intention that she wanted to end his suffering with nothing in return , it probably wouldn't have backfired on her. But whatever. I also have the feeling that Madoka is going to be making her wish pretty soon. From what Kyubey said to her, it seems as if she will be the most powerful magical girl, maybe almost god-like. But what really gets me ticked is that at the end of the episode Kyubei (or should I say the Incubator) states that Magical Girls eventually turn into witches, which I think it's pretty obvious that this ties to Sayaka being reckless and tainting her soul gem. From my knowledge ...

Deku is Best Boy (Boku no Hero Academia Episode 1 Review)

Image
WASSUP BITCHEEEES So after seeing this all over my Tumblr dash, I finally made the decision to watch it. By the way, wasn't it on Netflix before? Did they take it down or am I wrong? Anyway , Does anyone else just fucking adore  Deku?? CUZ I DO LOOK AT HIM, HES SO PURE EJOFU31HF3QE This is set in a world where more than 80% of the population are born with "Quirks", which are super-human powers developed at birth. Deku, who aspires to be like his hero All Might, is the only kid in his class that's completely normal despite both his parents having Quirks themselves. Talk about unfair  😑 I just love how despite all that he still wants to protect people. He even takes notes of all the Quirks he's witnessed.  Each hero is paid by the government based on their performance when fighting monsters. Better performance, better pay.  Based on the obvious trope this anime has, I'm assuming Deku has a "hidden power" residing in him....

The Broom Relay Race (LWA Episode 3 Review)

Image
BEFORE WE GET STARTED I'D JUST LIKE TO POINT OUT SUCY IS A LITTLE SHIT AND I LOVE HER Anyway, This episode focuses on an event called the "Broom Relay", which is a racing game that's played on broomsticks. And of course, after seeing Chariot's picture up, Akko immediately wanted to join in on the race. She doesn't even know how to ride a fucking broom... We're also introduced to a new character, Miss Amanda O'Neil! She looks like an apple to me... I don't know why. So in order to help her learn, Professor Ursula gives her a beginner's guide to riding a broom This girl literally does one thing and just drops it. I'm pretty sure if she kept reading she could have found a way to fly the damn broom. Lotte soon brings Akko to a magic items shop, where the two learn about the legendary Shooting Star broom. This was once used to cross the Atlantic Ocean without the aid of a Sorcerer's Stone. And of course, ...

Sayaka's Gone Bat-Shit Crazy (PMMM Episode 7 Review)

Image
Okay, so maybe  the whole Soul Gem thing isn't too bad. Though you're trading your soul for a wish (which is the part I don't like about it), your soul is not exactly being taken from you . It's only being encased inside an unbreakable shell that you still have possession of. You just have to be careful not to lose it or your body will die, which is what happened when Madoka threw Sayaka's gem off the bridge. I'm also not fond of the fact that Kyubei never told anyone simply because they never asked. Though, depending on how he says it, the girls might have reconsidered had he told them in a way where it sounded terrible, such as the way he put it when Sayaka died the first time. I don't really like the fact that this anime is kind of teaching you to think selfishly. In this episode Kyoko decides to talk to Sayaka and so she brings her to her father's church and tells Sayaka about her past. Kyoko had used her wish to give her father some...
