This chapter was basically dedicated to showing the aftermath of the last battle. So I think this is basically foreshadowing a war that will be coming soon, maybe between the Corsica family and the Cristianos? Keep in mind that she thought Barry was coming back for her in the last chapter. So I forgot about Warrick's whole back-story about how he and Nic ran away, so seeing this first page made me scream because it had completely slipped my mind that Warrick was a gigolo since he was like fifteen  😖 ​ HE LOOKS LIKE A BABY!! The news station on the TV is playing in the back, which explains that Twilights were now freed from slavery after the reinstatement of the Three Principles. This explains why Nicolas was staying at Warrick's home in the past: he was taken in as a slave, most likely to protect Warrick and his family.
