This is Getting Way Out of Hand (PMMM Episode 8 Review)

Sayaka has left the building... She's distraught because she's realized that she doesn't have her soul with her anymore. And as much as I love her, I honestly would have never made that stupid wish. She did it under the intention to make sure she and Kyosuke could still be friends, which was a selfish decision since it was mainly for her. Had she done it under the intention that she wanted to end his suffering with nothing in return , it probably wouldn't have backfired on her. But whatever. I also have the feeling that Madoka is going to be making her wish pretty soon. From what Kyubey said to her, it seems as if she will be the most powerful magical girl, maybe almost god-like. But what really gets me ticked is that at the end of the episode Kyubei (or should I say the Incubator) states that Magical Girls eventually turn into witches, which I think it's pretty obvious that this ties to Sayaka being reckless and tainting her soul gem. From my knowledge ...

Sayaka's Gone Bat-Shit Crazy (PMMM Episode 7 Review)

Image
Okay, so maybe  the whole Soul Gem thing isn't too bad. Though you're trading your soul for a wish (which is the part I don't like about it), your soul is not exactly being taken from you . It's only being encased inside an unbreakable shell that you still have possession of. You just have to be careful not to lose it or your body will die, which is what happened when Madoka threw Sayaka's gem off the bridge. I'm also not fond of the fact that Kyubei never told anyone simply because they never asked. Though, depending on how he says it, the girls might have reconsidered had he told them in a way where it sounded terrible, such as the way he put it when Sayaka died the first time. I don't really like the fact that this anime is kind of teaching you to think selfishly. In this episode Kyoko decides to talk to Sayaka and so she brings her to her father's church and tells Sayaka about her past. Kyoko had used her wish to give her father some...

I MOTHERFUCKING KNEW IT (PMMM Episode 6 Review)

Image
I KNEW IT KYUBEI IS A LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT DISGUISED AS A WEIRD CAT HE FUCKING FALSE-ADVERTISES THE CONCEPT OF MAGICAL GIRLS AND WHEN YOU MAKE A CONTRACT WITH HIM, HE TAKES YOUR FUCKING SOUL LIKE IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE FUCK Like I get that you're trying to protect the world and shit, but why  would you do it in such a way? Why would you create contracts with little girls without showing them the consequences? I mean, if he did do that way then there most likely wouldn't be many Magical Girls throughout the world  🤔 . BUT STILL Today's episode shows a perfect example! Madoka, who's so pent-up on protecting Sayaka, asks her mother for advice on what to do. while I admire the sweet moment between Madoka and her mother, I don't believe that getting advice from her was the best idea. You should never take advice from someone who doesn't necessarily now what they're talking about. Her mother might've thought that this was ju...

What I Would Wish for if I Became a Magical Girl

This question has been at the back of my head since I started the series, and I'm pretty sure we've all asked ourselves this: What would I wish for if I were becoming a Magical Girl? Now this is a pretty hard question, since this is the only wish you'll ever get. It's limitless but you're trading your life for it . To be honest, if I were being offered this I wouldn't even take the chance. I don't care if it's limitless. If I'm trading my soul for this I'd rather just be a regular human. BUT, IF IT'S TRULY LIMITLESS THEN WHY HASN'T ANYONE WISHED FOR THE WITCHES TO BE EXTINCT??? OR GET RID OF THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS JUST SO THEY COULD GO AWAY?? OR EVEN CREATE SOME KIND OF JUSTICE LEAGUE TO FIGHT OFF THE WITCHES SO THEY WON'T HAVE TO SIGN UP LITTLE GIRLS But no, they don't want to be resourceful with their wish. This must be why Kyubey recruits young girls.

How Twisted (PMMM Episode 5 Review)

Image
I think I get why they call it a Soul Gem now. You basically trade your soul to this little piece of shit here in exchange for a single limitless wish, thus binding yourself to a lifelong contract promising to protect the Earth. So Sayaka basically gave herself up in order to make this guy happy... I'm not sure if I like it very much. I mean, it's sweet that she was selfless enough to use her one wish on someone else despite this guy being a huge asshole to her the other day, but I just keep having this feeling that something will happen to Sayaka. A lot of things about this episode was just so ominous and it freaks me out. This girl is still planning on taking Sayaka out, but in the middle of her planning Kyubey warns her that there's more than one Magical Girl in the city. However, Kyubey calls this Magical Girl an "irregularity" mainly because she's powerful but he's never exactly made a contract with her. I've not...

I'm Sad... and a Little Confused (PMMM Episode 4 Review)

Image
To have to watch someone you knew for like two days just get murdered by an inter-dimensional caterpillar, only to wake up the next day having to go back to our normal life... it must feel so weird for Madoka. If it were me I'd stay in shock for a couple days because, seriously, that's a little too much for one day. I'm just hoping Madoka knows how much her life should be worth to her after that. I'm just glad that Kyubey left them alone for now. I most DEFINITELY wouldn't want to become a magical girl after that experience. Besides, there should be other girls in the world who would jump at the chance to be a magical girl. It doesn't necessarily HAVE to be Madoka just because she has a lot of potential. There's seven-billion people on earth, I'm more than 100% positive that there's other girls with about as much if not more potential. I have the feeling that Homura doesn't like the idea of potentially dying one day without having an...
