It's An Anime Thing

I feel like this episode was Netflix's way of appreciating the hardcore fans out in the world who spend their time freaking out over any series and doing things such as creating content related to the series, cosplaying, all that good stuff. I like how they made Lotte more eccentric when she'd talk about "Night Fall". The "excited fangirl" behavior she had during the event portrayed exactly how fans of any series in the real world act when they're at a convention. Trust me, I've been there. Going to a convention, especially for the first time, is very  exciting. There's events to catch, merch to buy, and if you're into cosplay you'll try to see how many characters you can recognize. Or in the case where you're in  cosplay you're probably hoping that someone will recognize you and point it out. Depends on what kind of person you are.

BEFORE WE GET STARTED I'D JUST LIKE TO POINT OUT SUCY IS A LITTLE SHIT AND I LOVE HER Anyway, This episode focuses on an event called the "Broom Relay", which is a racing game that's played on broomsticks. And of course, after seeing Chariot's picture up, Akko immediately wanted to join in on the race. She doesn't even know how to ride a fucking broom... We're also introduced to a new character, Miss Amanda O'Neil! She looks like an apple to me... I don't know why. So in order to help her learn, Professor Ursula gives her a beginner's guide to riding a broom This girl literally does one thing and just drops it. I'm pretty sure if she kept reading she could have found a way to fly the damn broom. Lotte soon brings Akko to a magic items shop, where the two learn about the legendary Shooting Star broom. This was once used to cross the Atlantic Ocean without the aid of a Sorcerer's Stone. And of course, ...

It's the first day of Witch School!! So I've noticed that when Akko is really excited, this girl starts laughing like a fucking maniac. And I've also noticed that I do the same 😱😱 They say the things you notice about other people are the traits you have yourself... EXCEPT I DONT LAUGH LIKE IM CRAZY I just giggle a lot when I'm giddy 😒 That's different Anyway, turns out magic classes are very much like any other school class, much to Akko's dismay. But what the fuck did she expect? This is what I meant by the fact that I don't like Akko to a certain extent because sHE NEVER PREPARED HERSELF FOR THIS You want to learn something like fucking MAGIC, something that's even harder than practically anything on earth, and you didn't even study the basics or at least expect that the Magic classes were going to be intense? This girl was literally falling asleep in class.  She's not ready for this kind of work. I...

So I've been hearing a lot about "Little Witch Academia" on tumblr and I saw the trailer on Netflix as well, so I thought "Why not?" But before we get started, I'd like to point out that Diana was in the audience at Chariot's show even though she was talking shit about her in the second episode (I usually write as I go by each episode but I might have cheated a bit  😅 ​ ). I especially like fantasy-type anime (well anything really) so knowing that it was about a human girl in an academy specifically for witches had gotten me interested a bit. However, while I find Akko adorable, I also find her a little annoying to a certain extent. I admire that she had an ultimate desire to become a witch. She had actually defied the odds through this that had actually been accepted into the Luna Nova Academy even though she's a human. I just don't like the fact that she wasn't prepared for this.
