What the Fuck am I Watching (PMMM Episode 3 Review)


This episode was... not what I expected. It's starts off so innocent and light-hearted, what with Sayaka going over to see her crush friend in the hospital. From what it looked like, this guy used to be a violinist. But telling by the bandages on his arm, I assume that maybe the stress was too much for him and he'd made cuts on his arm? Or maybe something happened that prevented him from being able to play anymore. Either way, he seems to be pretty upset about it.

Sayaka then asks later on if her wish has to be for herself, which Mami replies that you could make the wish for someone else, but you have to make sure you don't have any selfish ulterior motives.


We also finally get to see Mami's past, as well as what she might have wished for when she became a Magical Girl.

It kind of makes me think: is Kyubey some kind of little cat demon thing in disguise? It doesn't really make too much sense since he helps fight the witches that bring despair to the world, but maybe that's why Haruma tried to kill him that time? Maybe he creates contracts with girls as to make them fight against each other and potentially send them to their deaths? I don't know...

I just realized that the whole "Magical Girl" concept reminds me of "Charlie's Angels".



I find it so cute how Madoka looks up to Mami because she's like the cool, mom-friend hero type (at least to me), and she wants to become a Magical Girl to help others so that she could be proud of the life she has. However, she's still undecided on her wish. Mami, being so excited about it because she won't be alone anymore, suggests that she wishes for a giant cake. There was never a time where I related to Madoka more (so far) than this scene ðŸ˜‚​

 She says that she doesn't want to waste such a wish on cake, but when Mami tells her to wish for something else sHE ACTUALLY CONTEMPLATES GETTING THE CAKE 

 (Tbh I'd wish for that ðŸ˜‚​😂​ Just kidding)

Seriously, do all labyrinths look like that?? They don't look like places a witch would be in. Would you expect to find a witch in a field of junk food? 

(What the hell does that even say??!)

 Aaand here's the witch. Doesn't it kind of look like Madoka? 


This was a pretty quick fight. We assume that since Mami used a huge gun and pierced right through the witch's body, however...


 "SURPRISE, BIAATCH! THOUGHT YOU'D SEEN THE LAST OF ME??"

 That thing creeped me out so much ðŸ˜–​ It looked like a butterfly went backwards in it's metamorphosis stage and changed back into an ugly ass caterpillar. 

 AND GUESS FUCKING WHAT

THAT RIGHT EVERYONE

 MAMI FUCKING TOMOE GETS EATEN

 WHAT THE FUCK

 CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW ANGRY I AM RIGHT NOW

 LIKE WHAT THE FUCK

 IT'S THE THIRD EPISODE

 SHE DIDN'T EVEN PROTECT HERSELF AT ALL

 EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO CRY IN THE CORNER

 Anyway, thank god Homura was there to save Madoka and Sayaka. But how did she do it with almost no effort while Mami got decapitated? Maybe she's the strongest magical girl ðŸ¤”​ Would that be why she doesn't want Madoka to become a magical girl despite her potential?

Like I said before, most people who hate Mikasa tend to argue the she's a Mary Sue. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with this term (although almost everyone should know), a Mary Sue is a fictional character who's absolutely perfect in every conceivable way. This character is usually a woman and is perceived as "annoying' by most of the fandom. What I'd like to point out are the traits that make her seem less "perfect". That's it, Deku will always be the best boy. I love him. ISN'T HE THE CUTEST?? Okay, fangirl moment over. Let's get serious. So , it turns out that All Might isn't all might, if you know what I mean. Seriously, how do you go from this TO THIS IN 0.2 SECONDS? ... He looks like a bum. Anyway, Deku finally gets his big question answered by his childhood hero.
