It's An Anime Thing

So I was finally able to see the last episode of our beloved season 2 just yesterday :( I even took out my special Survey Corps jacket just for this occasion! (you can kind of see it in this post ) Alright, so in this episode we finally get to see the Smiling Titan for the second time. Miraculously this Titan was never killed during the fall of Wall Maria (wtf) AND it just somehow decides to pick on Eren and Mikasa (of all people) in the battlefield. Meanwhile the rest are trying to fight Reiner, who is currently busy throwing Titans, as Historia tries to catch up with her Titan girlfriend. As the Smiling Titan was just about to get their hands on Eren and Mikasa, Hannes throws himself in the way and proceeds to (finally) get revenge on the thing that killed Carla. Armin and Jean had originally planned to help them, but unfortunately Jean happened to have a Titan being thrown his way. Alright, so you know how I was complaining in one of my other posts about how Season 2 of Shingeki was half as long as the first season? WELL GUESS WHAT MOTHERFUCKERS WE'RE GETTING A SEASON 3 THATS RIGHT SEASON FUCKING THREE According to this , it is set to air next year in 2018!! Hopefully they're not telling us this now only to get our hopes up and say it's actually set for 2019  😅 ​ That wouldn't be very good at all. Anyway, thank you for reading! In this episode we (or rather I since I think I came into this fandom pretty damn late  😅 ​ ) found out more about Magical Girls and how they contribute to the well-being of humanity, as well as what sort of bullshit ensues when a witch is around. It seems that things like suicide and car crashes are usually caused by witches  🤔 ​  A demonstration of such is shown near the end of the episode where Madoka and Sayaka accompany Mami on a witch-hunt.  By the way, do all witches look like giant plant monsters?? I find that a little weird  😅 ​ (Look at how cute she is~! Don't you want to hug her???) Why the hell was Hitomi acting so weird? Like because of the fact that her two friends are suddenly whispering and standing next to each other more she automatically assumes that they're together?? The first episode was pretty interesting. The whole dream thing caught me off guard in the beginning  😅 ​ I thought this was supposed to be about "Magical Girls" saving the  world from inter-dimensional demons, not some girl standing around like an idiot when shit's floating in the air as she watches another girl fight a... robot?? Whatever that thing was in the middle of the sky. AND I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS WEIRD CAT THING WITH EARRINGS EVEN IF IT WAS IN A DREAM?? Like it's cute and everything but that in no way means that it's trustworthy. 😤 ​  At least it was just a dream. Also, I noticed that that the gender roles are switched in Madoka's family. You don't really expect to see the dad staying at home with the baby. And you wouldn't really expect the mom to have her kids wake her up in the morning so that she can go to work. Okay I seriously hated Reiner and Bertholdt until this chapter. Don't get me wrong I still think that Reiner is a dick, but I feel like I can't really blame him for the things he did (given the society he grew up in). This chapter made me realize THEY WERE JUST KIDS MAN THEY DIDN'T KNOW ANY BETTER  😫 ​ 😤 ​ AND REINER JUST WANTED TO MAKE HIS MOTHER PROUD AND TO BE ACCEPTED (excuse me while I cry in a corner) Ugh I feel like I can't really hate any individual character in this manga without looking at their past (except Zeke -_-) This manga is just so well-written! The characters and everything are just *clenches fist* perfect. Everyone has their own backstory as well as what they became in spite of that later on. Like Eren had this extreme burning  hatred for the Titans because of the fact that he watched his mother's gruesome death. I'm probably the only person who hasn't watched it yet. I mean when I saw the description on Netflix I wasn't very interested, but then again it seems that Netflix just tries to guess and ends up butchering what the anime was actually about. Look at what the did with "Ouran High School Host Club"! Netflix called them "gigolos"  😤 ​ It looks like such a sweet and innocent anime about a group of little girls who fight inter-dimensional creatures to save the world but I am positive  it is anything but. Right? From what I've seen on Tumblr it seems that this anime is very dark despite what it looks like on the cover... There is an anime series and three movies on Netflix, so which one should I watch first? Which one came  first? What do you think? Let me know in the "comments" box!

ALRIGHT FOLKS WE GOT TWO EPISODES LEFT AND I AM NOT OKAY (Jesus why the fuck would they make us wait like five years for a second season and then give us half of the amount of episodes they gave in the first season??) OKAY SO CHAPTERS 6 AND 7 REALLY FUCKED ME UP (well I'm easily moved by anything so yeah) Like I was literally up at night reading this and texting my friend about it.
